Bottle @ koelschtrinker Tasting: Sehr dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit geringer beiger Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht schokoladig, Kaffee, Vanille. Geschmack sehr röstmalzig, Schokolade, Kaffee, leicht alkoholisch, etwas viel CO2. Koelschtrinker (20772) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - DEC 5, 2014
Stark karbonisierter, leicht bitterer Schokoladenantrunk. Kaum süß, stattdessen trocken, was Ende angenehme Abwechslung zu ähnlichen Bieren darstellt. Süffig, kurzer Nachhall. Gelungen. 11/11/10/10/11/10 kordestanchi (101) - - OCT 4, 2014

1240 of 1416 bottles. 1,8 dl. The coffee aroma is strong, the sweetness of dark chocolate comes through. Quite awesome. This is dark stuff! The taste is like eating a perfect piece of chocolate, squared! Long finish, thick palate. Simply awesome. Bottle in Bespin cloud city that I walked to myself up the stairs and Lando Calrissian, the administrator himself, took my coat from me! Massive thanks to Paulo for this 2009 vintage #249 of 600 odd.
Black with a decent tan head that quickly dissipates to edgework.
Nose carries a big dirty coffee blast, spice, dark roastings, rich malt, chocolate fudge.
Taste comprises rich roast, Kopi Loewak pa pang, dark berry fruit, spice, more coffee, chocolate.
Medium + bodied, fine carbonation with a light spritz.
Solid coffee impy, stands up very well for its age, the booze has mellowed somewhat - still a winner!
