, Tampere. Pitch black colour, big beigeish brown head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, mild toffee and some slight alcohol as well. Flavour is quite much the same in a pleasant harmony. I recall the former Kopi Loewak was more peppery and burning than this. So for being stronger than the former one, I think the malt base has been quite changed as well.
Bottle at fins ... deep black ... thin lacing ...huge coffee roast ... light bitter coffee nose ... mild roast ... soft mellow coffee roast ... hint of chocolate ... but massive masive coffee roast ... omhper (25740) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 21, 2012

Opaque black beer, good tan head. Smooth palate, a little dry. Slightly woody dark malt. A little licorice. Rich coffee with some cream. Mild tangy fruit. Finishes dry with a bitter coffee aftertaste. Nice. Seems more flavoursome than the lower abv version.
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours pitch black with a rough beige head. The nose has quite some chili - from the coffee. Medium body only, carbonation is a little low, heavy hard roast, tons of coffee (and chili), some dark fruits and bitter dark chocolate. Malt bitter finish. 011211
