Bottle from the bartender at Lowlander. It poured a hazy brown liquid with a big brown head. Unfortunately I believe this one was a bit to old (the brewer warned me though). Sour smell with some chocolate. A bit funky taste with smoked ham and malts. Thanks for the bottle though, I got a feeling this beer was allot better a year or so ago. dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUN 12, 2010
Bottle, tfs Vaiz! Murky brown amber, large quickly dissipating head.
Aroma is dusty, hoppy, faint fruit, spices and some smoke.
Flavour is smokey, dusty, juniper, band aid, peat, spices. Medium palate.
Very nice. Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUN 12, 2010
Bottle at tasting, vintage: best before april 2007. Thanks for the trade, NoiZe! Cork pops with a loud bang. Pours murky brown with a very quickly diminishing off-white head. Aroma of dusty doppelbock with carbonated water. Some fruity malts and a bit of smoke and peat. Flavor is smokey, peaty, malty and with some sugar, leather, slightly bitter and licorice in the finish. Nicely aged brew with surprisingly very lively carbonation and a creamy texture. Joen (46) - Tricht, NETHERLANDS - JUL 5, 2009
Bottled, and aged estimately 5 years.
Copperbrown coloured brew. A very smoky beer with a sweet caramel flavour. Due to aging it had a slightly diacetyl flavour and mouthfeel. (The buttterscotch trip). Mdeium bodied, and a peaty slifhtly bitter finish. Nice caesar (7170) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2009
Bottled @ Olfestival 09 pre-tasting. Clear copper color, short off-white head. Aroma of smoke, peat, some dusty malt. Smokey taste, but not undrinkable like the virklund we just had. Quite nice stuff.

Bottle. [thank you, skortila]NoiZe (2322) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - MAR 10, 2009
Pours red amber with a large, fizzy, off-white head. Aroma is smoky, some butterscotch, peity, and a flowery hoppiness. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour starts off with just a slight hint of strawberries, then the peity smoke takes over. Caramel all-around. Nice.
Bottled, also aged 4-5 years. Described as a strong scotch by Bram the brewer of this beer. Brown, mahony colored brew. Malty, smoky and peated aroma. Flavor is vinous, caramel, smoky, malty, some bitterness, some honey. After a while peated indeed. We got a bottle from Bram to take home. I hope he starts brewing again. Overall a nice brew. skortila (5966) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - MAR 7, 2009

An exstreamly weird beer w have here, not a smoked as i have found them to be anyway. Aroma is of white woods. Taste is like drinking a smoked ham with cigar smoke playing with you. intresting as expected. bierkoning (13607) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 7, 2005
Purple brown color. Earthy (IMO not smoky) aroma with nutmeg, pepper and a hint of raspberry. Earthy, dusty flavor. Spicy and hoppy. Bitter almonds aftertaste. Not without quality, but certainly not my taste.
