On tap @ Borefts 2012. This one has a nice cloudy plum-brown body and a small sidesticking off-white top. It's lovelt vinegar-sour on the nose. Woody with lots of cran- and lingonberries. Some sour cherries as well. It's well carbonated this and it has a gliding oily mouthfeel. Lovely flavors here. It's stingy acidic, tons of red berries like raspberries and lingonberries. Fresh and wood-dry. Quite a delicious little thing. 30.09.2012

I was turbo boosted when I cracked this beer open on Sunday. I'd been drinking since one pm and it was nine'ish and I wasn't finished fuelling my body with beers that had silly names and gimmicky vibes. I felt probably level 8 on the self congratulatory scale..good football games had been watched, including the welfare-derby grudge match between Aston Villa and Birmingham city . But Saved by the bell the college years reruns tripped the fun scale higher . I had this stuff sandwiched between some can of apa witch escapes me in drunken haze and a seafood pizza.. past it's bbbf date. I just recall this been tart, sour and with cherry covered in varnish. Kinda a silly sour beer -like most European sour ales...but not an unpleasant one bottle ..wouldn't want another.

Bottle, courtesy of Herr Schneider, many thanks! Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is funky and wild, metallic, some candy and phenols. Body is medium, sour and acidic, dried dark/red fruit, barrel flavours, low acetone. Soft carbonation leading to a lingering fruit palate with more acetone. Good!

Very acetic and vinegar. Slight to moderate red berries notes, medium malty character, cherries, apples, citric, wooden, tart. In general high sourness, too acetic and sour, not enough maltiness. Once another not really good sour beer from De Molen.

CyborgX (109) - THAILAND - OCT 25, 2016
Bottle - aroma is of malt vinegar, and taste backs that up as sweet and sour, emphasis on the sour! Sipped in combination with a Brewdog Tokyo*, it provides the perfect foil to bring out the best of both brews ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home, 29/12/15. Reddish amber with a moderate crown of beige bubbles that soon dissipates to nyadda. Nose holds acidic qualities, earthy red berry, fruit balsams, pissy bushes, funk, nutty tones. Taste comprises sharp citric peel, musty wood, tarte red berry, strong balsamic presence. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, rising acidity in a puckering close. Decent enough xour red.

Bij Maakun. Zure jongen met randje van kaneel, rode bessen, druiven, fruitig. Maar vooral ZUUR. Glazuur springt bijna uit m’n bek. Backlog from 2015/06/09.
