Bottle. Frothy lightbrown fair mostly deminishing head. Dark red-amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Some rasin and licorice notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Watery palate. Thin and not very well-balanced but some nice notes though. cgarvieuk (26365) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 6, 2011
bottle at home ... deep brown ... bubbly tan head ... sweet malts ... light pine hop nose ...little too fizzy ... nice good roast ... quite a lot of hop ... little toffee ... quite a lot of lime peel... quite soapy Nellie (349) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 2, 2011

Bottled. This bubbles! Huge beige head, very dark brown body. Aroma of... not much actually. The taste is wonderful compared to most other 3,9% or less beers, with a thick palate and semi-long finish. BlackEyePA (574) - USA - DEC 24, 2010
Really good low abv beer. It works nicely due to roasted malt taste that finishes clean, and wipes the slate clean for the next sip. Keeps a hint of coffee on palate and really doesnt overpower, I tend to love all of Molens offerings. So go grab one, any one he is a master.

330ml bottle @ Pannuhuone, KuopioCountbeer (6589) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 20, 2010
Nice low abv stout with a roasted taste.
Big airy light brown head on top of a deep dark brown to black beer.
Smell roasted malts, light chocolate and coffee.
Taste is very watery, light liquorice, with some dried fruits. Don’t taste much else.
Medium carbo and watery body. stobbe74 (3790) - DENMARK - DEC 12, 2010
Bottle. Pours a clear and dark reddish/brown with an offwhite head. The aroma is malt, roasted and fruit. The flavor is close to the nose with some addtional cold coffee and ash. The palate is a little thin and with a high level of carbonation. Overall a good beer. RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - DEC 10, 2010
From Beers of Europe. Heavily roasted ruby-black beer, with licquorice overtones. Pours thickly and has a bit more body than expected for 3.9% ABV. Some peat in the nose, this is a bit like a mild crossed with a porter. Blackcurrant finish, lively and interesting, but not one I think I could consume a great deal of. sfhodense (4788) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - DEC 8, 2010
Pours cloudy brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, cold coffee, ash and light chocolate. Flavour is roasted malt, malt acidic, cold coffee and light ash. A bit watery and to high carbonation.
