Bottle. High creamy and long lasting light brown head. Black body. Herbal spicy aroma with liquorice. Liquorice coffee spicy, coraiander pepper, flavor with a high carbonation and a long aftertaste. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 12, 2010
A Mes rate. Bottle from Kris Wines.mar (5415) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 3, 2010
Incidentally, this cost me a very reasonable £3.00 hats off to Kris. Black body with a thin beige head. Pleasant fruity snout with plenty of the Premiant hops showing. Similar flavour. A little thin in the mouth and I’m certain the hops are not really the right choice for a stout like this. Whatever, minimal complaints aside this is a decent bright fruity stout with an interesting citric character. In all honesty, it drinks very much like a black IPA. Decent but I’ve had much better from Menno.
bottle thanks to bu11zeye. deep chocolate brown with a cream head. caramel, roasted malts, chocolate, wood, vanilla, and smoke? easy on the palate, roasted malts, caramel, coffee, and a nice finish. bacchanalia (146) - milton, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - OCT 29, 2010
Pours out deep black with ruby hue, classic tight DM head. Nose is delicate, body of the beer is fab for a mild, nice rounded mouthfell, light but not weedy, malty, choc, coffee, just a great quaffer. If you’re after a light but tasty stout fill your boots. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 24, 2010
(.33L bottle brewed 3-3-10 bottled 4-7-10 thanks to bu11zeye) opaque ruddy brown with a still body. Nose of light smoke, chocolate malt, sweet fudge and cocoa. Taste of smoke, mesquite, bbq, uncarbonated. Smooth but a bit watery.

Thanks Edo! Dark almost opaque brown color, medium-sized brown head. Coffee beans, ash and some cooked vegetables in the nose. Body and mouthfeel is quite watery. Light roasted coffee beans flavor, hints of De Molen yeast. This is like a watered down version of some De Molen stronger stouts. Pleasant but kind of no use beer.
Bottled. A black beer with a whitish head. I really didn’t get on with this. Horrifically over carbonated. A roasty aroma with lactic notes and fruity roasts in the mouth. But it’s all so ordinary and the carbonation makes it such a struggle to drink. Really doesn’t work. DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 9, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 12, 2010 [9/26/10] Bottle at t’ Arendsnest in Amsterdam. Black-colored with a beige head. Aroma of toasted bread, caramel and some roastiness. Sweet and slightly roasty flavor with some bread and a drier finish. Medium-bodied. A nice session beer. faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - OCT 7, 2010
Botella. Very alive, good thing I was close to a sink! Pours a black colour with a huge well lasting light brown creamish bubbly head. Aroma of roasty malt, dark fruits and some chocolate. Ok mouthfeel. Roasted malt dominates the flavour along with some chocolate and coffee, a pleasant bitterness and some sweetness. Bit thin but flavourful. caesar (7153) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - OCT 3, 2010
Bottled. Hazy dark brown color, thick rocky brownish head. Aroma has some coffee, dark chocolat, soft hop. Soft chocolaty taste, some bitterness, no sweetness, some carbonation. For a 3.9% a very very nice beer.
