Draft @ de molen. Aroma is strawberry yoghurt, slight herbal note. Flavour has some sourness, lactic acid, lemon, red fruits, some herbal notes. Interesting. Martinus (4601) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - DEC 28, 2012
Hazy brown amber colour, white rim. Aroma of malts, wood, somewhar sour, light hops, lactic acid and rainwater. Light sour flavour, lemonade, citrus, butter milk and leather. Quite light body, sour and light sweet finish.

Quite enjoyable and fresh. Haven’t had a ’real’ Gose yet, so can’t compare with the style - but wouldn’t be surprised if they gave it a bit of an own interpretation.. Nice and refreshing though, especially considering the ABV.

Well, this is what you call a very weird and unexpected experience! the aroma is something sweet and sour, like an apple, with something spicy that might be juniper berries. It has a heavily clouded light amber colour with an off-white head. Taste is again sweet sour apples, with a hint of salt, juniper berries and glue and there’s vinous notes in it as well. It’s medium sour and dry and has an ok body and carbonation. Weird beer :)
Draft at the brewery. Poured slightly cloudy orange colour with no carbonation at all. The aroma is very fruity and alcoholic. I could smell this beer all night long. The taste is like grapefruit on speed and rather sour. It’s fine to sip, but anything more than that invades your mouth and becomes a little unpleasant. deanso (10141) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - DEC 11, 2012
Sample at the molen
Thin white head. Hazy golden pour. Sour. Not my cup if tea.

Draft @ brewpub. Pours headless pink brownish. Aroma of roses, cheap perfume and overall quite sweet. Flavor is the exact opposite, being harsh, sour and difficult. This is not my cup of yea at all. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - DEC 11, 2012
No head at all, very hazy brown. Sweet fruits, funky, roses and dough. Rich flavour, interesting lactic funk and light sweet dough. Grapes. Low carbonation. Very nice, original brew. (At Colin’s De Molen tasting) Benzai (15625) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - DEC 11, 2012
Draught at De Molen. Muddy light brown color, opaque, no head. Smell fruits and really weird. Taste fruits and sourness. Also weird mint taste in the finish. Really have no idea what to think of this other than it’s not my thing.
