teddybeer (3831) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAY 27, 2012
33cl bottle. Orangish colour with a nice formation of an off-white, nice lacing, moderate lacing head. Aroma is hoppy, red fruits are present (cherries, strawberries). Flavour is strong bittery from the beginning to the end, dry in the final. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium. TET (3086) - Kaarina, FINLAND - APR 27, 2012
A dark brown beer with a big, lasting and beige head. Aroma is caramelly and sweet, berries, strawberries, "wet wood", surprisingly "berryjuice" like aroma. Taste is toffeeish and malty, sweet berries, after beginning taste turns into dryer and wooden hoppyness takes place, dark fruits, aftertaste is tight and slightly biting. Medium+ bodied, nice and style like drinkability. Aftertaste isn’t very nice, otherwise, berry, quite unique and interesting beer. JEK69 (396) - FRANCE - APR 4, 2012
Dark ruby/browny with a huge white/beige foam head that never fall.
Nose is typically English (specific hop? or malts that are used for that brew?) but some off-flavours can be noted such as burnt grain.
In mouth: too much foam, malt dominates, but a cap’s metallic taste spoil the malty profile then bitterness surrounds everything in aftertaste.

Dark ruby brew, fruity aroma. Carbonation under control. Complex. Rather sour, cherries, rhubarb. Does not fit into standard categories. Vinous. Ends up bittersweet, there are strong hop elements dancing around a body that has plenty malt sweetness. Fine, but one bottle is enough at a time.

In bottle from Nina’s. Pours an red amber colour with a huge yellowish beige head. Very high carbonation. Aroma of toffee apples, caramel and grassy hops. A treacle and candied popcorn flavour upfront before the bitterness kicks in. Very nice.

Dark red with a little bit of brown in it. Very strong aroma of yeast and pastry. Smells like a frikkin home brew. Yet it’s a pretty good aroma. Flavour is somewhat sweet. Pretty interesting brew. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAR 20, 2012
Glowing amber body, big bubbly light tan head. Light haze. Big aroma, enormously fruity, strawberry, cherry, blueberry, fermented fruit, candy, wine gums, some rye. Very sweet, but rich. Oily mouthfeel, bit sticky. Very Belgian. Pretty sweet body, balanced a bit by a good amount of straightforward bitterness. Alcohol shines through. Full mouthfeel feel, not an easy drink. Over the top maybe, but I can appreciate this. End with spiced, pickled orange peel. Not super refined though. Hard for me to assign a style or think of a comparable beer. Glad I tried this. Pours a deep amber, thick beige head.
Spicy aromas, lots of caramel and toffee malts, yeast, hops, apricots, chocolate.
Off-dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2.
Fruity, spicy taste, caramel, fudge, butterscotch, dried fruits, hops, yeast, slightly earthy.

Dark copper colour with minimal head. Aroma of sugar honey and alcohol. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Tastes as smell with bitter orange finish. Overall not bad.

Bottle 33cl from bierkoning, a cloudy amber-red beer with huge head and good retention. Nose is on barley sugar and honey. Aroma is very bitter and stringent with bitter orange peel notes and grapefruit hops, very bitter with intense resin and grassy hops. Very strange kind of beer, nice anyway a bit sharp.
