Malty aroma of reisin and dried fruit with note of caramel. Medium to high wellrounded body. Taste is both intensive malty raisin, caramel and marmalade and Europe hop. Good balance. rzymol (118) - - DEC 26, 2014
Bottle, 33cl. Very intense copper colour and thin but quite stable foam head. Lots of coloidal yeasts but that does not disturb the whole appearance to me at all. Aroma of fresh earthy hops and toffee, not as intense as it could be and in my opinion, not very interesting. The taste built of bittereness at medium level just fine for the English Aleand well balanced with maltym toffee-like sweteness. Undetectable alcohol, and a bit yeasty dryness on the palate in the aftertaste. Quite thin body and I would rather have it more oily/slicky. Very drinkable. Overall, a very good English styled Ale.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2014 Bottles from Provenance Wines and Cornelius. Murky chestnut body with a thin off-white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of dumpling, toffee, filter coffee, honey, smoked pine, Cadbury’s Fruit & Nut and amaretto. Flavour is surprisingly boozy. Notes of cinnamon, butterscotch, salted caramel, Soreen and Demerara sugar. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft carbonation. An interesting beer that made me think.
