33cl bottle Edeka Mohr, Bonn 02/2014. Bottled 11/2012. Pours a very cloudy wooden mauve once yeast is poured in. Boozy fig marmelade nose. Aroma of fallen autumn leaves, maroni, mushroom. Higher bitterness in the taste than expected, making this even more medicinal-woody. Belgian yeastiness and carbonation. Lingering yeast-hoppy finish. Overall blunt mix of prime old flavours. mile (4002) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 12, 2012

33 cl bottle from Vika Vinmonopol. Muddy, murky orange with a gelatinous, beige head, three fingers thick. Good lacing. Caramel malty and floral nose with hints of old wooden cupboard. Full bodied and boozy, bitter and biscuit sweet. Grows a little in the mouth with a thick, foamy mouth feel. Long and pleasantly bitter finish. ElDesmadre (3627) - Mikołów, POLAND - FEB 29, 2012
Bottle from Bierkoning, many thanks! Reddish brown with a big head of medium durability. Aroma is caramel, fruity esters (red apples, apple puree, redcurrant), with a quite strong Czech herbal hop quality. Sweetish-sourish (vaguely vinous), very pleasant smell. Full body, taste is partly sweetish because of the fruitiness and malt, ending with a strong and durable hop bitterness and an aftertaste of apples, hops and some green olives. This is a really great interpretation of the style. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - APR 17, 2016
11.2 oz. from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, NY. Date on the bottle is 29/08/12. Pours a cloudy amber with a large tan head that lasted until the last sip and left a thick coating of foam behind as the glass was slowly emptied. Pleasant aroma of caramel wit a few spicy notes. The flavor is caramel and malt with just a bit of spice. Starts to dry out on the palate almost immediately. Very mild bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. Very solid.
