Draft at Monks. Cloudy amber pour with a pillowy white top. Sweet grassy notes off the top. Earthy floral flavors. Wildflower honey. Interesting mix of amber fruit, brown fruit and bright herbs. Spicy bite as well. I like it. Maybe having it a bit too cold. Still feels nothing like an ESB.

@ Havregatan. Flaska från Craftbeers Privatimport. Fruktig och maltig, något kryddig, alkohol, ganska hög sötma, karamell, toffeetoner, medelfyllig. Avslutningen är söt, fruktig och något besk.

ruigo (3073) - PORTUGAL - JUL 2, 2015
33cl bottle. Cloudy pale brown colour with a thin off-white head. Nuts, toffee, caramel, spices and grass in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Spicy notes on the flavour. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Overall, a nice but odd beer.

TET (3072) - Kaarina, FINLAND - APR 27, 2012
A dark brown beer with a big, lasting and beige head. Aroma is caramelly and sweet, berries, strawberries, "wet wood", surprisingly "berryjuice" like aroma. Taste is toffeeish and malty, sweet berries, after beginning taste turns into dryer and wooden hoppyness takes place, dark fruits, aftertaste is tight and slightly biting. Medium+ bodied, nice and style like drinkability. Aftertaste isn’t very nice, otherwise, berry, quite unique and interesting beer.

Darker amber coloured beer with small creamy amberish head and only few carbonation. "Sweat foot" aroma. Full creamy palate. Finish is hopped bitter ending dry with a slight wattery touch.

Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 25, 2012
In bottle from Nina’s. Pours an red amber colour with a huge yellowish beige head. Very high carbonation. Aroma of toffee apples, caramel and grassy hops. A treacle and candied popcorn flavour upfront before the bitterness kicks in. Very nice.

bergstaden (3032) - Røros, NORWAY - DEC 13, 2011
Dark golden with a large white head - good hoppy aroma - good malt body to support a good hop bitterness - dry hoppy ending - this was very good

Brandman (2954) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 16, 2013
Brown body, light brown head. Aroma has sweet malt, raisins, flour, cookie dough. Flavour is flat malt and floury yeast, alcohol. Really bad and offlavoured.

Bottle enjoyed at home
Pours deep red and builds up the most amazing head you can imagine. Totally massive. Falls down to cm layer that you can increase to the double again with a litte glass twirl. Smells of ripe fruits, caramel, apple and malts. Full malt body with no sweetness at all. Fruity heavy flavors apply all over. Oily and dry on the palate. Nice hoppy bitterness with some resins
