Initially a very earthy aroma, quite like bramlin cross, later, however, after it’s settled in the glass, it’s quite sweet. Has some pungent hoppy hints too. Lovely in the mouth, a great bite and gentle tingle from hoth the hops and the carbonation. Nicely attenuatated. Quite green and fresh hops in the taste, delicious roasted grains, very bready, but not sweet. Love that finish. So crisp and a great noble hop bite. No sign of 7.5% - classic de Molen!
Dark red color, little brown. Smell little bit ashes, not much more. Taste is a little bitter. Nice beer. Ferris (15272) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 9, 2013

Bottle at Arendsnest. Clear brown - white head. Caramel. High sparkling. Sweet malty. Raisins. Light body. Herbal. A bit boring - too carbonated. Scopey (14723) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2015
Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours murky dark amber with a small off-white head. The nose is sweet, earthy, musty, cereal, cracker, brown bread, mild ketchup and squash. The taste is toasty, earthy, cereal, cracker, sort of watery, toasty grass, light spice and sugary with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Flavour is a but wishy washy and muted. Disappointing. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 16, 2011
