330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy reddish amber colour with huge, firm, frothy to creamy, lacing, white to off-white head. Aroma is slightly sweet toasted malty and minimally grainy, with some bitter hop emanating from the huge head, decent hints of dark fruit and chocolate. Taste is moderately sweet toasted malty, grainy, dark fruity notes transform to a chocolately touch. Sticky finish. Not to its disadvantage more lively carbonated than an "English" English Strong Ale. olsvammel (7216) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JAN 5, 2013

Pours reddish orange with a medium foamy white head. Aroma has notes of berries, earthy notes, malts and gooseberry. Taste of berries, malts and caramel. Finish is quite bitter with some fruity notes. A bit unbalanced, berries dominate the taste a bit too much.
Tap @ de Molen. Hazy amber to copper color, medium head. Aroma of some caramel malt, toasty, grassy hop, bit spicy, floral. Medium sweet in taste, only slightly bitter. More belgian feel to it than english. Boring for de Molen. PhillyCraft (7082) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 24, 2014
On tap at Monks Café, pours orange brown with medium sized head. Aromas and flavors are caramel and sweet malting, light honey, yeast, and hops. Finishes with hop and English tasting malts. Lighter to medium in body. Not too bad but got overshadowed by the Bo and Luke.

On tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy amber brown colour, dense off white head. Aroma of sweet malts, light fruity, flowery, caramel. Flavour is sweet, malty, fruity, toffee, nice grassy bitter finish. Medium bodied, slick. A lot better than the previous Molenbier imo. Very nice. Bottle 0.33l at Oluthuone Leskinen, Oulu. Originally rated 31012012. Colour is copper with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Sweetness, caramel, fruits and malts. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 11, 2011
Dark ruby brew, fruity aroma. Carbonation under control.
Complex. Rather sour, cherries, rhubarb. Does not fit into standard categories. Vinous. Ends up bittersweet, there are strong hop elements dancing around a body that has plenty malt sweetness.
Fine, but one bottle is enough at a time. Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 27, 2011
