ABV 8.5%, expired 18 months ago. 33cl bottle at home from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Nose is cherry, molasses. Body is hazy dark brown, head is big, beige, frothy, average lasting, good lacing. Aroma is milk chocolate, cherry, molasses, chocolate liquor, perfume, brown sugar. Medium to heavy sweet, light bitter, light fruity sour. Finish is medium lasting fruity medium bittersweet, light fruity alcohol sour, light alcohol warmth. Full body, oily texture, average carbonation. A bit heavy, bit too sweet for me, too much alcohol flavor for this ABV, still tasty, interesting, still enjoyable after long expiration, nice one.

mariuspoenari (2986) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - APR 2, 2016
33cl bottle. Dark ruby pour with a tall, fine-grained beige head that gives way to a sticky lacing. Smells like bourbon barrel, caramel, hazelnuts, dried fruit, strawberry jam and other sweet flavors. The taste follows the same notes, with some additional ones that are quite dominant of the taste notes - milk chocolate, cappuccino and toffee. Surprisingly compex, and all the components go very well together. Medium body with low carbonation and soft mouthfeel.
