Draught at Ölrepubliken, Göterborg, on April 9, 2013.
During the De Molen Tap Takeover event.
Hazy dark reddish brown color, minute tan head. Very sweet, raisin, sirup taste. Sweet and loads of raisin aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, very low bitterness. Sweet raisin scent. Also dates and figs.
If you like very sweet, not at all bitter, raisin infused beer, you will love this one, like I did!

OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 21, 2012
Sampled from bottle @Mikkeller, København. Thanks to David L. Deep reddish amber body with good clarity. A thin layer of beige bubbles on top. Bold aroma of ripe berries, creamed caramel and alcohol-soaked dark fruits. Subtle cognac and barell notes. Big body. Thick mouthfeel. Sweet caramelly malt body. Warming alcohol all the way. Vinous. Some mellowing fruit tones. Faint vanilla and wood. Overall, a perfect sipper, with the 17.4% alcohol very well masked. [15.07.12]

Impressive beer with a high alcohol content but a surprising gentle taste. Smooth and fresh, sweet and malty.
