Pours darkest brown with mocha head with dark brown rim. A: incredibly potent, dark fruits, marmelade, cherry, cherry liqour, wood chips, malts and yeast still noticable. T: slightly oily but smooth mouthfeel. Deep burnt malts, chocolate note, rye note. Deep raspberry marmelade sweetness. Finish is a gentle smokey malty bitterness. Not too shabby.

330ml bottle. Pours an unclear dark brown with ruby hue and a small, creamy, short lived, light brown head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel, dried dark fruit and licorice. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel, dried dark fruit, dark chocolate, licorice, tobacco, brown sugar, ash, earth and spicy hops with a dry, alcohol warming finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Very nice.

Postgusto a chocolate.

Słabo, duży zawód. W sumie to bardzo mało to risowe - paloności ni ma, ciała mało, barwa też nie do końca czarna. Ehh... W aromacie rodzynki, drożdże, alkohol i trochę karmelu.

Quad aroma, with sweet malt and fruit, more of the impy stout bitterness on the tongue, with a pretty amazingly brutal hop finish for a beer two years old

Bottle from Hops and Crafts Exeter. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of prune, leather ,mellow coffee hessian sack, hay, dark chocolate ,candy sugar & bread. Taste of fig, prune, dates, milky coffee, dark chocolate, hay, polished leather & raisins. Medium bodied, slickly smooth ,nicely carbonated. The finish is dry & slightly bitter with more dark chocolate, coffee, hay. Fig,prune, dates ,leather & raisins. Wow !!! What an unusual Imperial Stout!

Dark and beautiful in colour. Smells slightly herby. Sweet and roasted in flavours. One the best beers I've ever tasted.

Backlog ~~2013. Zapach owocowy. kandyzowany Ananas i grejpfrut. susz owocowy. Ciężki jak po ciemno-gorzkim. Smak: owocowy, cięzki, ciemny, gorzki, suszone owoce. Czuć alkohol. Nie podeszło, może do powtórki?

Tasting @ Tim's. Dark brown pour with some beige foam. Nose is sweetish, some dark caramel, with some herbal liquorice thing, bready. Taste is sweet but not too sweet, good balance and finishes with lots of fresh burnt rye bread sweetness. Freshly baked bread, really tasty and surprised that this breadiness is actually coming through so well. Rye spices linger in the finish, burnt bread crumbs. Really good stuff, drinks easy which is super dangerous for this abv.
