Bottled. An unclear dark red-brown beer with a huge rocky dark brown head. The aroma has notes of straw, lemon, roasted malt, and wood. The flavor is sweet caramel, wood, roasted malt, straw, and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Very deep brown colour along with a beigeish brown head. Aroma is raisins, some alcohol, mild yeastyness, grass, burnt wet wood as well as some slight liquorice and spices. Flavour is being rather much the same with raisins and figs being the most evident. Rather hoppy finish compared to many other Belgian Strong Ales.

omhper (25163) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 2, 2011
Bottled. Muddy dark mahogany colour. Explosive and superlively upon opening, please open in the shower... Aroma of lingonberry and caramel. Full bodied with soft, cottony mouthfee. Warming with notes of Baileys and shisky. Loads of caramel wrapped in spun sugar. The bitterness appears in balance with the massive sweetness and rich body.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours orangey brown with a slight haze and a huge and stable beige head leaving laces. Rather perfumy and sweet aroma - interesting indeed. Solid body, rather sophisticated flavours, woody and dried fruits. Solid bitterness. Unusual but very good. 121010

Cloudy dark brown beer. Huge light brown head. A lively beer on the pour! Nose is a little coca cola. Soft frothy palate. Creamy frothy malt with a fruity coca cola taste. Palate gets even frothier. Bitterness creeping in towards the finish. Whispers of banana and bubblegum esters. Interesting beer.
