Gorgeous red-purple appearance, far too much toffee-colored head, cognac nose, bitter black currant and brandied cherries in an alcoholic wet dream. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BOTTLE 33 CL. Really dark brown, red highlights, dark beige head. Rich dark malts, dark treacle, dark fruit, a little cheesy and boozy. Similar taste, slightly spicy and cheesy finish, some ashes. Yep, more quadruple-ish than stout-ish.

330ml bottle BB 05 Jan 2021. Deep dark black with nice small firm tan head. Sweet bourbon aromas, licorice, caramel, cola, dark fruits. The taste has lots of sweet dark fruits, robust red wine, spicy phenolics, herbal and floral hop character, some ash, caramel - bit too sweet unfortunately. The mouthfeel is much lighter than expected (a good thing) and super smooth, although could use a higher carbonation to help balance the cloying sweetness. Some good flavours but unfortunately lacking a bit in balance and too sweet.

Ciemne, pięknie oleiste i nieprzejrzyste, z małą pianką. Aromat słodkawy, mało palony, są dominują słodkie owoce i nuty biszkoptowe. W smaku to taki miks RISa, quadrupla z Barley Wine. Jest słodkie, syropowe, karmel, biszkopt, słodkie owoce suszone. Tu ta nuta syropu jest kontrowana palonością i gorzką czekoladą, ale piwo jest wciąż słodkie. W sumie niezłe
