UPDATED: JAN 18, 2017 Bottle. Dark brown black-ish pour. Nice aroma of luscious bourbon vanilla, creamy chocolate, oak, booze and red fruit. Nice sweet flavor of bourbon, red fruit, boozy vanilla, chocolate, oak, raisin, ripe fruit, molasses and a long bourbony finish. Delicious.

Opaque black - brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth with reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts with a nice light sweetness. Lovely smooth bourbon, fruity bourbon. Trace of vanilla. Smooth finish. Nothing here that is not in many BA Imperial Stouts but this one has that beautiful integration and smoothness that elevates it about the crowd. Fabulously drinkable.

Zwart met kleine lichtbruine kraag. Heerlijke volle, bijna olie-achtige body met gebrande mouten, hout en vanille. Superlekker.

Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is toffee caramel fudge. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich bourbon alcoholic fruity palate and an oily frothy mouthfeel. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

Bottled. Pours black with an average, lacing beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, vanilla, dark fruits, wood and bourbon. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry with, alcohol and a hint of bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture and flat carbonation. An excellent Impy. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

LCI. From the tap @DeMolen. A very good BA Imp Stout. Some roasted malts, but mostly bourbon and chocolate, nice thick body. Very tasty.

This isnt really an imperial stout in my opinion... theres no roasted malt character at all. Its more akin to an olde ale or barley wine. Thick, syrupy, sweet, lots of apparent alcohol, bourbon, drying oak... tasty stuff, regardless of what category it fits into!

Butelka z datą: 15-09-21
AROMAT: Dość intensywny. Dominuje "beczka" (kokos, wanilia). W tle nuty owocw w syropie
SMAK: Słodowe, odrobina gorzkiej czekolady. Posmak Bourbonowy. Alkohol wręcz idealnie wkomponowuje się w smak tego piwa.
WYGLĄD: Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzyste z rubinowymi refleksami. Piana niska, krtka.
OGLNIE: Zdecydowanie lepsze od wersji bazowej. Beczka robi robotę.
