Aroma is caramel, dark fruit/wine funk and malts. The flavor is caramel, fruit, medium sweetness and a sour/funky/warming finish

Ungstrup (37889) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 19, 2016
A dark brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and wine. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and wood, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Leighton (21494) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 8, 2016
Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Session 4. Pours rich brown with a bubbly-frothy tan head. A very decent impy stout, with rich dark malt character, cocoa, charred wood. Full bodied and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming in the finish, with suggestions of dark fruits, more chocolate, torched wood and earthy bitterness. Nice one.

At Borefts 2014. Dark brown, no head. Malt, chocolate, sweet vanilla, bourbon. I love the boozy character of this one.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2014 Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2014. THX everyone for sharing today’s beers. Black beer. Nose is roasted malts, somewhat sweet, some alcohol and chocolate. Taste is about the same with vanilla and mocha there as well. Nice

Abio (1868) - BERMUDA - SEP 29, 2014
One of the better brews on this festival for me. Good amount of roasted malts, some vanilla and mocha, and there is some boost inside. Liked it for sure.
