Clear dark brown color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, alcohol - bourbon. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, bourbon, chocolate, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic.

Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, wood, alcohol - bourbon. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, bourbon, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light alcoholic.

Quite much black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol and ripe fruits. Flavour is leathery, smoked wood along with some liquorice and quite much alcohol as well.
Draft at Churchkey. Pretty much black, brown head. Aroma of vanilla, coffee. Taste is slightly sour coffee. Decent.

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 1. Opaque dark brown - black beer. Small pale tan head. Smooth palate, mellow carbonation. Smooth dark malt with a whisper of dark chocolate. Light touch of wood. Tangy fruity bourbon, little spicy. Finishes smooth. Pretty well joined up.

Dark color, almost black, no head. Syrupy mouthfeel, oily; huge soy sauce flavor, salty liquorice; boozy alcohol.
No matter how I usually like De Molen Imperial Stouts, this one is too clumsy.
