On tap at In de Wildeman. Black, brown head. Aroma of full on ground coffee beans, some chocolate if you try really hard, not much else. Flavour is light sweet, chocolate, hard roasted malts, loads of coffee, coffee bitter finish. Medium to fullbodied. Again, as with most coffee beers, way too much coffee to my taste. jonas (8277) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - JAN 14, 2011
UPDATED: JAN 15, 2011 Bottle. Chili-chocolate, lemongrass and coffeeground aroma. Dark red brown, golden brown cream. Light citric, candy, light oxidized coffee, ginger, piment. Fine sparkly mouthfeel, chewy. Impressive flavors, dont quite mesh for me, but pleasant enough to drink. dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JAN 12, 2011

Massively roasty stout, hints of espresso coffee. Huge foamy beige head.
750ml bottle from bierkompass!
The beer in glass is absolutely black, the mighty foam is growing continuously. Absolutely amazing! Smells wonderfully malty and roasty, but very dominant of bitter coffee. The first sip confirmed that! Superb aromas of roasted malt with intensely strong malt-body. The coffee comes through great. Especially in the aftertaste it resonates long after. By the middle part is a little caramel, and you think the beer is even more intense! Of the 10% alcohol at any point you realize really nothing!. Again a terrific beer from my favorite brewers from the Netherlands!
