75cl Bottle. This was a serious gusher. After sitting undisturbed for about a week in my fridge I removed the wire cage and the cork hit the roof with a loud pop, covering me, table and carpet in stout. What remained poured a very dark coppery brown with a huge, rocky tan head that lasts a while. Aroma is quite roasty and boasts rich coffee and dark chocolate as well as subtler hints of vanilla, tar and licorice. Flavour is very similar to the aroma except there’s more of everything: more chocolate, more coffee and more smoky tar. Thick, creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a long roasty, bitter finish. Absolutely delicious, one of the finest coffee stouts I have encountered. Easy to drink and with restrained sweetness, everything is balanced just right. faroeviking (11086) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - OCT 20, 2010

Bottle… This beer rocks!… Pours dark brown (almost black) with a large, creamy, khaki head. Fantastic retention. The aroma boasts strong espresso, dark chocolate and dark berries. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. The flavor leans sweet, but brings a fair amount of bitterness as well. Big time mocha and chocolate crème – café con leche and dark chocolate. Bittersweet, mocha finish. A shout goes out to darkguardian for sharing this world class beer! lusikka (7819) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 12, 2010

Pours a black colour with a large, very lacy, beige head. Beautiful. Aroma of roasted malts, strong dark coffee and some hops. Flavour of bitter hops, roasted malts and chocolate with some sweet notes. Full bodied, oily texture and very soft carbonation. Dry, bitter and warming finish. Very good.
Bitter espresso, chocolate and vanilla notes on the nose. Layered flavors of the same with some caramel and toffee. Mellow bitterness adds to the balance of a great beer. sfhodense (4788) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2010
