Draught @ albion. Inky black with small foamy beige head, mocha-cardamom aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter mocha taste with cardamom flavor, smooth body, long mocha finish. Well rounded and tasty.

I drank this beer yesterday in the Pibar, Lausanne, thanks Agocs to share this beer with me. On my personnal view, it is a really good stout, not too sweet, well built with a perfect black body, white and brown foam, carbonation regular for the style. The taste is with roasted malt, sweet coffee, mocca, toffee but there is a side mineral and dry, hop on the right dosis. The aromas are huge, pleasant for the nose like the flowers during the spring, good brewery.

(330ml 2017 bottle from boxbeers.dk) Pours black with a small white-tan head and spotty lace. Aroma of ashy black coffee and spent grounds, roasted/burnt malt with some soft dark sugar sweetness, a bit nutty, really a coffee/roast bomb though. Flavour is dark chocolate, lightly sweetened black coffee, fairly hefty roast, a bit nutty, charred/ashy notes, herbal bittering hops, quite a lot of intense black coffee/grounds/burnt notes in the dry back end, affording moderate to high bitterness and ash in the aftertaste. A little drying alcohol too. Lighter side of medium body for style, with nice fairly soft tingling carbonation. Feels like classic De Molen to me, dry and roasty/burnt, but a bit thin and spent coffee-heavy to match their best stouts.
