330ml brown bottle from Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Deep dark brown pour, a hint of red showing through. Thin layer of beige head with mild lacing. Nose is roasty, slightly earthy, some chocolate. In the mouth the beer is roasty with dark chocolate notes, background fruitiness and caramel. Finishes with some rich cocoa-y notes, some roasted bitterness and a bit of sharper grassy hop. Medium body with medium carbonation. Not a text book schwarzbier but enjoyable.
Visual: (cellared for 3 years). Their standard basic label, I like. Pours almost jet black with a large 1cm super long-lasting frothy head, sticky lacing, no visible activity.

Nose: caramelized roasted barley malts, hints of chocolate. (lvl-5)-pungency
Attack: creamy smooth, sharp crisp
Mid-palate: (lvl-6-sweetness), brown sugar sweet roasted barley malt, fruity light coffee,
Finish: light notes of chocolate, subtle hops mixed with roasted bitterness.
Summary: Super clean and smooth with zero sourness - all sweet roast counterbalanced with the hops to finish. The sugars get slightly cloying around 3/4 through and wishing there was a bit more aromatics in the mids to make it an [A].
