Bottled, 330ml from The Bottle Shed, Acocks Green, Birmingham. Gold to amber with white head. There is a pear drop, yeasty character to this on opening, honeyed sweetness with a floral note. Some banana, some biscuit in the body. Decent enough.

Pours deep golden orange with a two fingers white head, tight and steady. Malts, bread crust, gentle citrusy hops nose. Nice rounded dry bitter taste, very long finish. Quite drinkable even if not too tasty. Clearly not a main event but sure a good session starter.

bilcho1 (335) - Ruse, BULGARIA - JAN 19, 2018
330 ml bottle at the craft beer shop, shared with friends. Pours clear with a brief frothy head, medium lacing, no bead. Deep amber in colour. On the nose, strong aromas of honey, caramel, baked quince and malt. In the mouth, flavours of baked apple, receding malt and some citrus. Slight sweetness and medium carbonation. Overall, an interesting Belgian Ale, very much like an American Ale.
