bilcho1 (181) - Ruse, BULGARIA - JAN 19, 2018
330 ml bottle at the craft beer shop, shared with friends. Pours clear with a brief frothy head, medium lacing, no bead. Deep amber in colour. On the nose, strong aromas of honey, caramel, baked quince and malt. In the mouth, flavours of baked apple, receding malt and some citrus. Slight sweetness and medium carbonation. Overall, an interesting Belgian Ale, very much like an American Ale.

SilkTork (5926) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2017
Day 21 of the Honest Brew Advent Calendar. 330ml bottle, unfiltered. It's OK, but I'm not keen on the tropical fruit hops. Nor the sludgy bitterness. Nor the lagerish malt. Nor the excessive carbonation. I shake and burn off the carbonation, and enjoy it a little more. But it's not really my thing. Malt is too thin, and hops are too tropical and girly. An odd cross between a low abv Belgian blonde and an APA. Nothing like a bitter.

Backlog. Delikatna baza słodowa. Leciutkie piwo. Chmiele fajne w cytrusy. Finsiz krótki. Szkoda tylko, ze taka cena.
