Not a very bitter ipa, light pale blond, but with a nice tropical fruity character, balanced, easy drinkable. rzymol (119) - - DEC 17, 2014
Bottle 33cl, 1.5 y.o. Thin, short-lasting head, a dissapointment. Nice deep copper. Aroma is very hoppy and citrus, generally very regular for DIPA, quirmte too light, nothing very special about it. Taste is a nice balance of sweet malty, citrus and spicy, herbal notes. Spicy feel lasts also in the aftertaste - this is very cool, particularly during winter time and even though I suspect it is an effect of alcohol, I will still argue this is one the best things about this DIPA. Its bitter but not too bold, quite smooth. Enjoyable but not impressive, the aroma and appearance might be better in the fresh B&O (and not stored for over a year). If I ever get a chance to compare it, I update my rating. sharkydodson (1916) - St. Petersburg, RUSSIA - DEC 13, 2014
the aroma of citrus and pine with some herbal notes... the taste is rather rough with notes of orange, pine cones and some tropical fruits, pineapple is among them... sweet and bitter spicy aftertaste... RW80 (2900) - Hoogeveen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 12, 2014
Appearance: A reddish orange with huge off white head.
Aroma: Fresh Red Graperuit with a hint of peaches.
Taste: Red grapefruit bitterness up ront, balanced by bready malt, hop resin and brown sugar, befor it finishes with some fruity bitterness aain.
medium body, very soft carbonation.(A bit more would be better)
Good brew, Seems a bit unimpressive, allthough the fruity tones are actually really well thought out. Svesse (8922) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - DEC 10, 2014
(Bottle, Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 24 Aug 2014) Reddish amber colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, resin and caramel. Malty, hoppy taste with grapefruit, resin, dried apricots, orange peel and a generous citric bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Solid and tasty DIPA. Nice one.

Une grande IPA impériale. bottle from Bierkoning, pours reddish orange with huge off white head. Pretty dang thick top and lacing on this. Notes are sweet malts, orange hops, light barrel and more sweetness. Barley wine type sweetness in this "double ipa’sh" bottle according to label. Thick and syrupy for the style. Not enjoying this one. rouhlas (3979) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - OCT 30, 2014

Bottle from The Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Deep amber in colour, a decent white head. Aroma of peach, a whiff of alcoholic burn. Taste is strong orange, some pineapple. Strong alcoholic finish. Pretty extreme, but still tasty.
