Cloudy amber/caramel brown; thick and full of particular matter; minimal head. Strong aroma of alcohol with hints of banana. Flavor is strong, thick, and a bit syrupy with hints of elderflower. Not as complex as many of theirs. uckelman (813) - Durham, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2015

Murky amber with moderate off white spotting.
Nose is sweet fruit fusion, tropical vibes, light perfume, bubblegum, candied fruit.
Taste comprises sticky toffee, light yeast, candyfloss, bubblegum, dark fruit rinds.
Medium + bodied, fine to lightly cloying mouthfeel, sweet and juicy hop stokes in the close.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Colin. Pours unclear amber-gold with a creamy off-white head. The aroma has some crackery malts, pine needles, ripe citrus. Medium sweet flavor with lots of marmalade, more crackers, bread, bitter pine. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, lots of gooey citrus, pale bread, more crackers. Tasty stuff overall. Scopey (16274) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2015
Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours cloudy dirty amber with a small beige head. The nose is sweet, pear drops, apple, brown bread, tangy stewed orange, peach and earth. The taste is sweet, sticky, stewed orange, candy, umami, pepper, grapefruit rind and some alcohol with a sweetish finish. Medium-full body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Nice aroma, but taste is a bit flat. So-so. harrisoni (19548) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2015
Bottle from Grumpy Goat Reading drunk at home. Hazy reddy brown colour lasting beige head. Sweetish malt aroma. It does what it says on the tin an imperial amber ale. Dark red fruity malty aroma. Touch of bovril. Good in mouth smooth then a strawberry grapefruit sweetish malt finish. Pretty good. olio (10692) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 10, 2015
33 cl bottle. Bottled on 18.12.2013.
Pours murky amber color with a large lasting head. Sweet fruits on the nose, some ripe ones as well, yeasty notes, some wood, hints of spices and caramel malts. Sugary sweet flavor, ripe fruits, toffee, mild licorice notes and some yeast. Creamy smooth palate, soft carbonation, mild alcohol burn at the end. Quite pleasant and rich, maybe a tad too sweet though.
