Golden glowing body under a small yet stable off white head. Pleasant English like hop mix, biscuit and nutty malt base. Cookies, too. Smooth body which is spot on for this type of (very) strong Belgian ale. Good bitterness underlying the dangerously smooth taste. If anything the ending is somewhat short and harsh but I’m very positive about this brew overall. De Molen isn’t know for Belgian ales, but this again shows the brewer’s amazing knowledge and inherit feel for flavour. Deserves a high rating. on tap at the de molen stand at braukunst llive 2014. a rich shade of golden with a thin yet fluffy head; aroma was so full of orange marmelade that i kept thinking about my grandma molly; soft, drinkable body; spot-on balance between sweet and tangy - bread and butter pudding covered with very zesty orange marmelade. much fresher and more invigorating than most strong belgain ales i’ve had lately Theis (15150) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2013

Bottle at home, purchased at a little shop outside Canterbury UK. Pours a clear amber with one finger of head. Wonderful sweet floral aroma. Honey also. Slight alcohol on the nose also. Flavor was bitter but not overbearing. Clean finish. Very nice beer.
