Small yellow head, leaving some lace over orange-coppery beer. Orangezeste, orange marmalade, yet not overly hoppy, restrained. Mandarine Napolon, if less sweet- (and alcoholic-)smelling. Arachide, pretty bitter hopflavour, milder on the palate thanks to some malty restsugars. Again (preserved) orangezeste & liqueurish. Wry, hopoil-dominated MF, medium bodied at best, yet slick, even oily texture. Definitely slanted, short of unidimensional, but all the same worth trying.

A Mes rate. Bottle at home thanks to Menno.
Clean amber gold with a good white head. Good hoppy snout, plenty of juicy tangerine in the aroma. Load of citric bitterness that mellows out instantly thanks to the big yeasty notes. Faint meaty note but its not a spoiler. Decent but not amazing.

Ungstrup (36498) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 1, 2010
Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours deep golden with a dense off-white head leaving some laces. Sweet hoppy and perfumy nose. Medium body, a little sweet fruit and caramel. Citrusy hoppy finish, but not exactly overwhelming. 010410

Big 750ml bottle, No.165, bought at lbutikken and shared with Skinnyviking on an early Saturday afternoon. Pours a pale golden body under a lasting, one-finger, head, that got a brownish shade. Aromatic and fresh, sappy oranges to the nose. Sweet succulent fruits in flavour, sustained by herbal hops. A solid, but rounded, ending of dry bitterness. A well made, full-flavoured IPA (Copenhagen, 27.03.2010).

Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense brownish head. Aroma of herbs, flowers, grass, light fruits and some caramel. Flavour of grape, flowers and spice. Medium to full bodied. Very heavy bitterness in the end with a light grapy touch. Very nice and wellmade.

Bottle, Melgers Wijn-en Drankenhandel, Haarlem. Drunk at Slothezs. Slightly hazy bronze pour with a nice lingering off white crown. Earthy, pissy hop aroma. Loads of fuit in the flavour with some lovely hoppage, again with a real earthy quality. Dug the bitterness here bigstyle. A really tasty, clean and drinkable IPA. Loved it.
