75 cl Bottle #118 from Bierkoning. Bold orange body with proud head. Nice nose of hops and plenty of pine. Really smooth and round taste of oranges, hops, pine and plenty of bitter. Bursting with hops and really well done. Notes of coriander spice it up. wyzzywyz22 (2108) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2010
Bottle, Melger’s Wijn-en Drankenhandel, Haarlem. Drunk at Slothez’s.
Slightly hazy bronze pour with a nice lingering off white crown. Earthy, pissy hop aroma. Loads of fuit in the flavour with some lovely hoppage, again with a real earthy quality. Dug the bitterness here bigstyle. A really tasty, clean and drinkable IPA. Loved it.

Currently drinking while typing. Once uncorked (75cl bottle, #139 out of #190 of a 1st Feb ’11 bottled batch, so relatively very fresh and un-aged) you get good aromas of De Molen character! Large base of floral hops, tangy caramel, cinnamon, malt, winter fruit and yeast. Beautiful looking copper, amber beer with an off white slightly greyish head which was rather volatile when pouring. Nice hoppy taste with a bitter edge to it, maybe a bit too bitter for this beer in my opinion which made it for me not as good as the Vuur & Vlam. Flavours of floral hop, tangy malt, yeast, winter spices and herbs with an alkaline aftertaste which leaves a very gentle warmth to the throat. Clean palate with a suitable body and volume in the mouth for the style it is, not unpleasant or clingy, heavy or generaly bad. Good beer again from De Molen, not their best but either way it blows most beers out of the water. Worth purchasing! gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - MAR 28, 2012
75 cl bottle - bottled 27/12/2009 - bottle 343/366. Pours deep orange with white head. Smeels like white peach, a vegetable touch - parcely. Body is full with medium carbonation - from sweet in the start to nice bitterness in the end. Taste is vegetal indeed... Rune (12944) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 31, 2010
Big 750ml bottle, No.165, bought at Ølbutikken and shared with Skinnyviking on an early Saturday afternoon. Pours a pale golden body under a lasting, one-finger, head, that got a brownish shade. Aromatic and fresh, sappy oranges to the nose. Sweet succulent fruits in flavour, sustained by herbal hops. A solid, but rounded, ending of dry bitterness. A well made, full-flavoured IPA (Copenhagen, 27.03.2010).

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Honey coloured pour with an off white head, lasts a fair while. Aromas of tropical fruits, citrus, baked apple, sweet spices, malts. Flavours of grapefruit, pineapple, herbs, light malts, bitter lemon. Very hoppy mouthfeel. Refreshing hop explosion (resisted the urge to say burst!) in the finish. Not bad. from www.erzbierschof.ch - pours a cloudy dark orange colour with a robust and long lasting pale beige foam; nice lace; slightly buttery with notes of almonds and flowers; moderate carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel; medium-bodied and with a fair bitterness; the finish is almondy with plenty of hop presence - very pleasant thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 9, 2010
Bottle from Man van Drank, Rotterdam. Pours hazy orange with a smallish head. Nice fruity hop aroma, hints of orange zest. Tastes quite bitter with orange zest like hoppiness leading the way, but also with some toffee in the finish. State of the art IPA. Leighton (21477) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2011
