Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and crisp. Fine minerally carbonation. Nice combo of orange and lemon citrus with an offset of a little salty brett. Very nice non puckery sour. Very drinkable, polished off the whole 750.
Bottle thanks to MrH, 2013 vintage. Pours hazy golden, large creamy white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is huge brett funk, basement, horse blanket, lemon rind. Flavor is medium plus funky, light bitter, just a hint of tartness, funky, Brett, lemon. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. I think this is a pretty solid Brett ale. Not sure about the sour part, but the Brett part is down. gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - MAY 9, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 13, 2013 750 ml bottle - shared with some friends - thank you Menno. Pours hazy pale yellow with a tiny head (if poured from a decent height). Aroma’s a pretty citrus and herbs, a bit of funk. Light body with a subtle sour level all the way through and a more bitter finish than any of the comparable sour ales, which I dug immensely. Taste is malty and funky cheese. Very agreeable beer, open and easy to drink. greenclansman (906) - Nicosia, CYPRUS - MAY 18, 2013
the most sour beer i ever had. i like sour ales and lambic beers but this one is like vinegar. interesting beer to try once, but too hard to finish with all this sourness. pure vinegar
