Bottle thanks to MrH, 2013 vintage. Pours hazy golden, large creamy white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is huge brett funk, basement, horse blanket, lemon rind. Flavor is medium plus funky, light bitter, just a hint of tartness, funky, Brett, lemon. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. I think this is a pretty solid Brett ale. Not sure about the sour part, but the Brett part is down.

[12/08/2013] Bottle from De Molen Online Beershop: Light gold body with no head whatsoever. Nose is floral, some sweetness too. Taste is sour up front, with fruit notes and more sour all around.

Bottle, first rating in 2016. Not the most exciting sour Ive had, but I think this is underrated. Maybe its because I have the March 2013 vintage which had time to age. Smooth and round, pleasant sourness, some sweetness, well balanced. Not very complex when it comes to aromas. I dont mind, because this is certainly the easiest and smoothest sour/wild I had so far.

Koelschtrinker (19464) - Kln (Cologne), GERMANY - DEC 25, 2015
Suerlicher, leicht oxidierter Holzantrunk. Trocken holzig-suerlich im Mittelteil, ein wenig bitter. Adstringent, eher wenig sffig. Intensiv bitterer Nachhall, wenig wrzig, unrund. 9/8/7/7/9/7

Bottle. Pours clean golden with no head. Aroma and taste - sour, very sour - in a bad way. Its really cheapier to buy bottle of vinegar. Not recommend.

Clear golden, 3 years in the cellar. No head or carbonation. Aroma off unripe apples and brett. Taste apples, brett, vinous. Aftertaste of toffe and citrus. Long Crispy feeling in the end.

750 ml bottle. Almost clear golden body with a small white head. Strong and nice aroma, fruity, acidic and funky. Flavor is refreshing fruity, acidic berries and wood with moderate bitterness. Medium body and pleasant aftertaste. Highly enjoyable.

Bottle at home. An odd one to be sure, was braced after hearing bad reviews on the draught version. Pours clear amber, nose is massive balsamic, funk, horseblanket, oak comes through, toffee, vanilla, taste is just too much vinegar, hurts the throat a little, nice oaky tart finish but the balsamic linger ruins it.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with an off-white head. Aroma of cheese, some wood, malt, sour berries and funk. Flavor is sweet and sour with some malt, fruitiness, oak and funk. Medium body, average carbonation.

Very sour and very, very, VERY salty. Aroma was quite interesting, but tastes like an extremely salty vinegar. Undrinkable. I never throw away even the worst beers, but this one I just could not finish it. Perhaps it might be fine for cooking.
