Rasputin 10.4% Black as night with a thin cap of tan head, high boozy aroma with caramel, chocolate, coffee and roasted malt, flavours to match, started sweet with vanilla and licorice coming through, finished with a lingering wanting more bitterness, full bodied, outstanding.

kaserov (756) - Oviedo, SPAIN - JUL 22, 2017
Color negro con capa de espuma marrón de tres dedos de grosor (cremosa y de buena retención). Carbonatación mínima. Mucho cuerpo, cremosa en boca y algo untuosa. Aroma a malta torrefacta, cacao, ligero alcohol. En boca mucho cacao, algo de café, azúcar (aunque no es demasiado dulce). Final con algo de amargor y alcohol. Postgusto amargo bastante manejable. Bien pero esperaba algo más de personalidad.

Pours deep brown with almost zero head. Nose is loads of coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, chilli, pepper. Medium sweet taste with notes of coffee, chocolate, caramel, dark dried fruits. Alcohol is discretely there. Lingering and balanced malt bitterness in the aftertaste. Low carbonation, full bodied, sticky mouthfeel. Great IS.

Icedwarf (1657) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - JUN 18, 2017
Rasputin volgens etiket. Zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is krachtig, warm en zoet met iets van koffie, karamel en fruit zoals bessen, aardbei en een lichte cognac smaak. Top bier om van te genieten!

3.8
nearbeer (5424) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 15, 2017
33 cl. bottled 18 Dec. 2014. Deep mahogany with a thin topping of cream. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, toasted nut and a dash of soy. Flavor is dark chocolate, soy, bread, toasted nut and red wine with a bit of the barrel. Medium-plus body has a nice balance and low-medium carbonation. A bit boozy even after 3-1/2 years of bottle aging.
