Ciemne, oleiste, początkowo spora piana jednak szybko opadająca. Piękny słodki aromat marcepana i czekolady.

Mooi mondvullend, plakkerig. Lange afdronk waar zuren in opduiken.

Kolor: Czarny, nieprzejrzyste. Piana: Beżowa, gęsta, oblepia szkło i długo się utrzymuje. Zapach: Czekolada, wiśnie, marcepan, nuty utlenienia w stylu porto. Smak: Średnio gęste, słodkie. Marcepan, czekolada, suszone owoce. Goryczka średnio intensywna, ziołowa. Długi czekoladowy posmak. Wysycenie: Niskie, OK. Opakowanie: Skromna etykieta, niedokładny skład. Uwagi: Warka 4.12.14-39 Dobrze odleżakowane, utlenione, bez alkoholu, sama przyjemność.

Aroma is heavy, dense roasted malts with a fair share of dark fruits like plums or raisins. Taste is rich and full from roasted malts, coffee, light vanilla and some vineous notes. This beer is actually rather complex, with tastenotes that ranges from brown ales through barley wines.

Bottle. As "De Molen Rasputin" - Bottled 19/10/2010; Drank Aug 2011 - Dark Reddish-Brown, almost Black, in colour with foamy beige head. Very Malty; roasty malts, brown sugar, dark chocolate, espresso coffee, toffee, some smoke. Very Fruity; dark fruits, cherries, plums, raisins. Spicy. Hoppy; earthy hops. Alcohol quite evident. Smooth, rich. Sweet roast malty fruity throughout. Cross between a Quad, a Barley Wine and an Impy Stout. Very drinkable. Lovely beer! (2011-08-10)
