750ml bottle shared by BeerGestapo, thanks Mike. As soon as I loosened the bailing the cork and cage shot off like a rocket, narrowly avoiding blinding me, and putting a dent in my ceiling. Pours dark brown with a humongous tan head. The smell is that of brattanomyces, funky and wild, with some roasty notes underneath and a touch of alcohol. The flavor is funky, earthy, alcohol, bitter, wood, and a touch of caramel sweetness. Very dry with a lot of carbonation. Overall very strange and it loses a point for almost killing me.

Rasputin 5/2015. Ei oikeastaan vaahtoa, musta. Suklainen makea tuoksu.

medium aroma (very pleasant and well balanced) - strong coffee with milk, sweet chocolate, some burnt malt, burnt fruit wood, black fruits, a bit of honey and wild flowers, dark bread. strong taste, a bit rough and emphasized - outdated roasted coffee, burnt malt, bitterness of a strong coffee, dark chocolate, moderate sweet caramel, moderate burnt brown sugar’s syrup, rum/cognac with some black fruits. very good and well balanced!

Helt klart trevlig. Gott!

Aroma - caramelized sugar, slight cherry, alcohol, chocolate, and spice. Appearance - the body is black, the head is beige and around 2", and fades into a thin layer of foam. There is alcohol cloying that draws serious suds. Taste - is rich with a mix of dark fruity alcohol with a slight turn of tart and rich alcohol. There is cherry, raisins, fig, and slight cranberry. There is a slight caramelized sugar and even some chocolate. Palate - medium, slightly thin but approaching slick, the carbonation is average, the finish is alcoholic and slightly sweet.
