rozlewane w 2013r. Piana drobna nie zbyt obfita, opada do krążka. Kolor złoto zmętnione z pływającymi kłaczkami drożdży. Aromat przyjemna beczka dębina wanilia, lekki kwasek, dzikie nuty, bardzo przyjemny. Smak się dzieje, genialnie zagrała beczka, dębina, taniny, delikatnie kwaskowo winne winogronowe smaki, minimalna bretowa nuta. Pije sie to niesłychanie dobrze, jest pełnia słodowa, w strukturze gładko, alkohol ułożony, goryczka zaznaczona. Niesamowite piwo Brawo WOW.

Palme (5024) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 2, 2018
0.33l bottle. This is a really cloudy almost glowing deep orange one, almost amber with a small light bubbly, sidesticking and islandy just off-white top. Nutty and peachy aroma at first, but that settles after a while and it gets more, well actually the dry nuttiness doesn't stop but the fruitiness fades. Light zesty and sweet as well. A non extreme aroma that in some ways reminds me of smelling on a sugar free "saft". It's definitely not to sweet in the taste, but that nutty bitterness is really making an entrance in the taste as well. Lack that caramel sweetness i expect in a barley, but it has a soft carbonation level and a light oily mouthfeel. Some watery fruits with a little bit of woody alcohol. Did not identify it as bourbon before the last sip (that got really tempered), but alcohol is present indeed. Well, not the best I've had from De Molen, more more in the mediocre genre as a barreled barley wine imo. 17.05.2013

Samtzu (702) - Palmerston North, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 16, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours a deep gold. Large sweet nose. Light body with lots of malts which is interesting considering the colour. Well balanced with almost no alcohol burn which additionally has some smokiness.

Mortlach (2539) - Rome, ITALY - SEP 10, 2017
330ml bottle. Ambrata spenta, opaca, schiuma leggera color avorio/bianco sporco, poco persistente. Al naso sentori di caramello, toffee, vaniglia, uva passa, frutta candita, alcol. In bocca è intensissima, caramello, alcol, legno, finale amaro e leggermente acidulo, molto lunga. Corpo pieno, carbonazione leggera. Tanta roba.

Degustated after 4 years in a bottle. Very complex, rich beer. Easy to drink though. Try to keep it in a cold place for few years.

Bottled. The aroma has caramel, dried fruit, bourbon and vanilla. Bit hazy amber coloured beer with a thin head. The taste is light bitter and has caramel sweetness, raisin, bourbon. Bit quad like. Nice.
