Bottled. Hazy golden colored, nice head. Nose of banana, yoghurt and wheat. Initially more sour than one usually finds in a Hefeweizen, in finish more bitter and dry. Mediocre wheat beer, the bitter finish does not really seem to match with the style. caesar (7398) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 24, 2010
Bottled. Had it 1st time on a night after we visited copenhagen beer festival. Taste was ofcourse bit off and thin (see skortila’s rating). Drank this beer yesterday in the sunshine on a lovely spring afternoon (aka the perfect weather for a weizen). Cloudy golden color, big head. Aroma of wheat, banana, some caramel malt, quite hoppy for a weizen. Bitter and wheaty taste, full bodied. All in all a fairly hoppy hefeweizen, which are usually a bit more sweet. Very drinkable, quite nice. skortila (6014) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - MAY 17, 2010
Bottled. Aroma had some grass and grain, not much wheat. Bit hazy, copper-yellow coloured beer with a white head. The taste is slightly bitter, has some fruits, grain, little wheat. Bit boring. JorisPPattyn (10121) - BELGIUM - APR 4, 2010
Coppery-golden beer with a very small, off-white head. End of bottle totally muddy. Milky malts wafting up, milk-ripe grain, cypress or juniperbranch, rosemary. Again spicy like rosemary or lavender, on a dull malt background. EU hops, not very distinctive. Wheat is strangely imperceptible in the flavour (more in the nose). Finish has some solvent. Warming up, this becomes bananaester. Medium bodied at best, seems undercarbonated. Not bad, quite drinkable, but rather unremarkable. Strange I cannot find the wheat more. A Mes rate. Bottle at home.

Orange colour with a faint white film. Fruit and wheat. Slightly estery, some grain. Very drinkable, just not much happening.
75cl, at 5.1%Vol, new Dutch brew Anno 2009, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex brew, yet easy to drink, balanced, cloudy, nearly no head, nice brew Ober (2811) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - DEC 25, 2009
Tap @ brewery. A hazy golden colored beer, with a thick foamy head. The aroma of sweet malts with some wheat and fruits like banana. The taste is dry fruity, much banana. Some sweets with a bitter. The aftertaste is bittersweet. NoiZe (2394) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - DEC 14, 2009
Tap @ Brouwerij de Molen. Golden colored brew. Aroma is wheat, dusty, earthy. Flavor is very light and unbalanced. Lemon, citrus, earthy. Maybe it’s the local ingredients or the fact that it isn’t sunny, but I wasn’t too fond of this one. bierkoning (13813) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 13, 2009
From tap @ De Molen. Small sample, had to drive. Glue, wheat and banana in the aroma. Initial smoke, followed by clove, glue and hints of citrus and banana. Interesting beer, no doubt, but not the best this brewery can offer.
