Hazy amber beer, no head. Light malt nose with a whisper of banana. Crispy palate but the carbonation is modest. Semi dry. Saison like malts and a subtle undertone of orange and banana. A little spice in the dry finish. Not bad but a little more carbonation would be good.
Bottle. Light golden, large head and mostly lasting head. Moderate, malty - wheaty and sweetish aroma, fruitiness - berries, some banana, light hoppyness and spiciness (coriander). Body is medium, malty – lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, faint fruitiness and banana, some hoppyness and spiciness. Finish is short to average, malty – some wheat and dryish, sharp spiciness and hoppyness. Nice aroma - in the finish hoppyness and spiciness get too sharp (carbonation). Interesting, but aroma/flavor not in balance. Hermod (8253) - Vantaa, FINLAND - JUN 3, 2012
33cl bottle, bottled on 14/07/2011. Poured hazy orange with an everlasting white head. Managed to pour most of the beer in to couple of glasses without losing too much, came rushing out of bottle. Aroma is spicy, wit-like - coriander, oranges and yeast. Flavor has oranges, spices, wheat. Ends very dry and fruity. Medium body. Extreme carbonation. 330ml bottle. Gusher. Hazy orangey golden colour with huge macropore white head. Decent fruity aroma with grapefruit notes, yeast. Taste is unspecific fruity, close to apple and grapefruit. Needs improvement. SimplySike (1510) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAY 13, 2012
Bottle 33cl. Poors haze orange with big white head gone quick. Aroma coriander, malts. Taste nice bitter, also a good sweet. Good fresh beer.

Bottle from the Bottle Shop, Canterbury. Very lively! Big gusher all over the train. Aroma is biscuit malt, citrus hop, bit of grassiness, strawberry. Taste is wheaty and grainy, some citrus, creamy lemon, strawberry. Nice. ganache (6035) - New Jersey, USA - APR 16, 2012
Bottled on July 14 2011. Gusher on open, nose heavy with orange peel, lemongrass, lemon, and some beautiful floral tea notes. Maybe a touch of ginger to boot? Cloudy yellow-golden with, of course, a huge white head. Surprisingly lifeless (medium) body, a little scummy with wheat, spices numbing the tongue as much as they dull the other flavors. From this bottle, hard to agree with the site’s classification as a Hefeweizen considering the texture and utter lack of esters and phenolic compounds. tfredvik (2027) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 15, 2012
An absolute gusher! I try to get the aggressive liquid into my weizen glass, but since that can’t hold more than 22 cm of foam a considerable fraction of the beer ended up on my kitchen table. Finally the foam fountain has settled down, and I’m left with a very cloudy, medium orange body. The head is of course humongous, it’s off-white and long-lived and leaves a decent amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma is quite unusual for a hefeweizen: it is fruity, but more on the slightly over-ripe side, and there are far more apples than banana. Also some spices and yeast. Light sweet and light acidic, almost sour taste, with a light bitter finish. The flavours are unusual and not that pleasant. There are some faint fruity and spicy traces, but also unpleasant yeast and cellar. The gushing left the beer almost flat, and that is certainly not very fitting for this kind of brew. A great disappointment, and I do hope this is not how the beer is supposed to be.BeerBaboon (2119) - FINLAND - APR 13, 2012

Cloudy orange. Lots and lots of white head. Maybe it’s something about De Molen because I’ve had this happen with them before. This one has orange peels, wheat, coriander and general fruitiness. deanso (10220) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - APR 7, 2012
Bad gusher :-( Lots of white foam. Hazy blond pour. An ok beer.
