Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Hazy yellow pour with a thin white head. Wheat and banana in the nose. A little sourness in the flavour, with notes of yeast, wheat and fruit. Dryish finish Fine, if a little drab. Not the best offering from one of the best breweries out there.

Hazy hay-colour. Off white big frothy head. Aromas of bread, hay, wheat and citrus and yeast. Lightly sweet, and some sourness and suprisingly mediumn and long bitterness in the end. Medium body, a bit oily, soft carbo. Overall a decent beer, but not very similiar to the classic german hefeweizen. It felt somewhat belgian, belgian yeast?

Underwhelming for such a great brewery. The coriander and ginger are subtle as is much of the taste in this beer. At five percent, a session beer that I wouldn’t mind having multiples of, if it weren’t so expensive.

Mezcalmannen (514) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 19, 2011
Taste is lightly sweet and finish mildly bitter, with hints of sweetness. Aroma is earthy yeastiness. Unclear orange colour, white head. (Bottle that was a gusher)

Decepció. Bombolla massa grossa i agresiva. Es regenera l’escuma massa exageradament, fins i tot quan te la poses a la boca. Algun problema en la fabricació o en el transport ha tingut. Esperem que el pròxim lot surti millor. Apuntava maneres, però.

(75cl bottle brewed Mar 10, 2010, bottled Mar 31, 2010 thanks to bu11zeye) cloudy pale yellow, frothy white head. Nose of lemon, juicy citrus, acetone. Taste of lemon, bit tart, lightly spicy, acetone, berry. Quite odd.

MaartenRF10 (1959) - Wageningen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 5, 2011

Bottle at home
A gusher - Like a bubling volcano the foam arise from the bottle constantly. The beer pours deep orange with a massive dense white head. Smells of banana, yeast esters and hints of citrus. Taste is spicy with cloves, wheat malts, no sweetness whatsoever. Palate is dry with a nice pricky carbonation. Nice grassy finish

omhper (25941) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 26, 2011
Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, with a gushing that would empty the majority of the bottle itself. Aroma of citrus, buckwheat, rubber and winegums. Light and spritzy, freshening and quite hoppy. Marzipan in a field of flowers. Long astringent herbal bitterness. The rubber disturbs.

Brandman (2964) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 25, 2011
Orange hazy body, white head. Very fruity aroma, mainly apricot, lots of coriander. Flavour has very fruity hoppy bitterness, dry finish.
