Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Citrus, Blumen. Geschmack sehr malzig, fruchtig herb, leicht nach Kräutern.

Rich orange-brow color with a full, frothy cover. Zesty orange and lemon nose that leads into a body that is a mix of cattiness and pine cone. Moderately sticky and resinous, with a punchy finish.

Il mulino che vorrei fa ipa come questa qui. Aroma di luppoli fruttati, gusto molto complesso in cui si incontrano note fruttate e agrumate, in particolare pompelmo, seguite rispettosamente dal sentore pungente della segale. Davvero golosa!!

The head is ok, the body brown and cloudy. It smells ryemalty, hoparomatic, fruity. The taste is ryemalty, aromatic, malty, fruity, hoppy. Nice!

330 ml bottle bought at The Bottle Shop in Sai Kung.

Cloudy hazy dark amber colour with dirt like yeast sediments; Explosive three finger head with rich, long lasting crumpety off white foam; Excellent sticky lacing with soft fizzy carbonation; Fragrant sweet aroma of floral, with grapefruit, honey, orange, lemon, light spices, light earth, malt, and herbal hops; Medium sweet taste of rich malt, with light grapefruit, orange peels, lemon, spices, light molasses, earth, barks, yeast, spices, potent liquorices, bitter lime and herbs; Full body, quite thick and smooth palate; Mouth feel is rich malt dominated by thick and smooth oats and spicy rye. Fruity taste from Cascade and Armarillo is not amplified, rather weak in comparison. Very earthy, spicy, and unique astringency from the adjuncts. Interesting; Hoppiness is decent floral, honey, light fruits, and earthy nose and taste. Very sharp and astringent taste partly from hops and also from grains, for a low and lasting finish; Slightly dry after taste, bitter and rich to mouth.

Comments: This one showcase the various grains for very nice head, sticky lacing, rich body, smoothness, and unique bitterness. If it can express more Cascade and Armarillo’s fruity characters, it will be perfect. A mid-to-top range De Molen, but still a pretty good one.

UPDATED: OCT 17, 2013 Very nice. A lovely caramel, malt aroma tinged with peach. Good body, then lasting bitterness, reminds me of mikkeller ipa. Maybe lacking a tad in the mid tate
