Keg @ Inn Deep. Muddy brown, decent head. Vegetable grain aroma. Dry grassy vegetable flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Doesn’t taste like an IPA. Don’t really like this one.

11.2oz bottle. Minimal cap on a cloudy burnt orange body. Aroma and taste of rye, biscuit, caramel, citrus rind. Creamy and delicious. Bottle might’ve been kept a bit too long.

Bottle from the De Molen Beer Shop. Poured a hazy dark amber with a thin off-white head. The aroma is rich citrus fruit with some hoppy notes. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with lots of grapefruit, liqourice, dry hops and spice on the smooth palate.

Thanks to bierkoning for that one. Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts intense hoppy and dry, quite bitter. Some fruity hints of grapefruit and lemon. Finish less fruity, bitter aftertaste. Not bad!

Draught at Arendnest, Amsterdam. Hazy yellow beer with a offwhite head. Hoppy, citrus, caramell aroma with some floral notes. Fruity and hoppy flavour.

The head is ok, the body brown and cloudy. It smells sweet, hoppy intensive, less rye, aromatic. The taste is a bit rye, more hoppy, aromatic, malty, earthy, bit chocolate-sweet, less fruity. Delicious 12/12/12/12/11/12

Bottle - January 2013. Pours cloudy amber with a small beige creamy head that dissipates with some lacing. Aroma is bready, caramel, citrus. Flavor about the same, a bit of pine, orange, caramel, spicy rye. A well aged IPA, and it shows it. Medium sweet, light bitter. Medium body, somewhat creamy but a flat mouthfeel. Meh.

Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Hazy golden beer with a nicepffwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, biscuits, caramel, floral, grapes, some herbal notes. Hoppy citrus flavor, pine needles, hay, biscuits, floral notes, almost a bit woody. Fruity hop finish with pine needles and citrus notes.

Cask at GBBF 2012 - London. Pours lightly hazy orange with a fine, filmy white head. Rich caramel and pine on the nose. Medium to big sweet flavor with more pine, some poo and pee, ripe melon, hints of toffee. Lightly warming to finish with toasty caramel, bread, pee and melon. Nice.

Bottled. Cloudy copper color, short head. Aroma is quite malty, more biscuity than rye bread. Some grassy and earthy hop notes as well, not really pronounced though. Medium bitter in taste. Great balance. I like these Rye IPA series.
