33cl bottle, served in Shaker. Pours amber with a huge off-white frothy head, looks good. Grassy and citrusy aroma, with some sugary notes added. The flavour is quite malty, slightly caramel-ish and tropical. Low in bitterness, seems rather toasty. Medium mouthfeel, perfect carbonation. Good brew overall, but close to the average craft beers.

Bottle shared at Borefts Basecamp 2012 - Utrecht. Pours clear, copper-red with a medium, white foam head. Nose holds ripe orange citrus, some spicy and grainy rye. Light to medium sweet flavor in general, some sugar, cake-like bread, sweet berries, mellow rye, background pine, vanilla frosting. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, lightly dry, some resins, a bit of creamy toffee, mellow spice, brown bread. Interesting. Kind of a non-standard IPA.

330ml bottle. De Molen Flute glass. Enjoyed on mar´13. Deep ruby color. Clear appearance. Off-white to yellowish froth creates a close to creamy crown. Active bubbles coming up & down but good retention. Aromas of toasted malts, molasses & alcohol, hints of burnt black bread. Smooth malty flavor & earthy hoppiness at first sip. Spicy touch follows. Medium body. Moderate to high carbonation. Slight wood & resins in the middle as well as roasted coffee grain & rye dryness linger into long bitter finish. Resins & rye remain on the aftertaste. Refreshing, delightful & unforgetable beer. How rye works is perfectly shown in this.

Head is too big again. Either there is something wrong with all these bottles from beernavigator or de molen does this with intention. Bottled 15 aug so this is basically 8 months old. Supposedly not god for an ipa. The aroma is actually quite good, but the fruityness goes away quickly. Ok taste but not so much hops and it goes away quickly. Think I will avoid IPAs from de molen in the future. There are so many great breweries that knows how to make them.

In bottle. Smells like rubber and tastes like malt. More like an amber ale than an IPA. The hops are very low-key and the texture is flat like water. A good beer but nothing to write home about.

0,3 liter fles @home.
