Countbeer (6470) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JAN 13, 2013
Bottle: Medium to lightly bigger sized vast and thicker beige light tan slow disappearing foamy head on top of a hazy red ish dark amber colored beer. Smell lovely hops, hop flowers and hop fruits: citrus, pine, cactus, gass, malts, a hint of rye (because we know it), hint of yeast, also some older hops and forest herbs. Taste nice hoppy flavours, citrus, grapefruit, pine, peach, bitters, chalk, light cream, hint of marzepin, hint of butter, floral, some sweet tones like caramel and vanilla. Aftertaste is floral hops with some hop fruits, hop flowers, hop bitter and hop sweets... (Broad, but it is). Low carbo, soft light silky light spicy mouthfeel, just a bit more than a medium body and a creamy texture. Very nice rye IPA, balanced, smooth and tasty!

33cl bottle, shared with 77ships, Martinus and Tderoeck. Bottled 15-08-2012. Cuivre lgrement opaque, col beige crmeux.

Huge orangey-coloured head, quite stable & lacey over copper-amber beer; Mandarines, overripe oranges, Mandarine Napolon, chocolate with orange stuffing, but also a tad dusty smelling. Quite bitter, bit woody, kumquats. Hint at chocolate, just enough malt for basis; other grains just showing glimpses of themselves. Excellent balance. Spritzy, quite slick, medium bodied; smooth feel. Good IPA, could vie with the better WestCoast samples.

Hazy red amber, firm light beige head. Aroma is peach and lychee hops. Theres a good amount of sweetness in this IPA. Some rye detectable, what I always like in a beer. Good body and nice carbo.

Idiosynkrasie (7210) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - NOV 27, 2012
330ml bottle. Cloudy dark amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, diminishing, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy, slightly herbal hop aroma, slightly earthy undertones with a touch of almond and pine. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty with herbal overtones, a dry and soapy touch fades out in the finish to a rye malt note. A slightly earthy, clumsy IPA.
