thewolf (12714) - Kolding, DENMARK - SEP 3, 2009
Bottle. [thank you Skortila/caesar]
Pours clear dark brown with a big, frothy, beige head. Aroma is sweet, lots of raisins and plums. Light flowery hops, mild spiciness and a bit of chocolate. Fat and lovely oily mouthfeel. Good flavour, starting with lots of dried fruits (raisins and plums). Lightly vinious, some coriander and clove. Nice, long aftertaste with soft hoppiness.

bogus (97) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - AUG 16, 2009
On tap @ Kafe Belgie (Utrecht). Hazy amber colour with a small head. Quite sweet with some hints of spices like ginger and clove. It’s a nice brew.

Dedollewaitor (16239) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2009
75cl bottle @ HJ Hansen, Odense. Pours a muddy brown with a small creamy head and lacings. Sweet malty. Nuts and caramel and a quite extreme amount of spices and herbs. Cardamom, cookie dough and clove. Full, sticky and slick palate. A bit of alcohol in the end. Though one dimensional in a way it is quite tasty!

fiulijn (20992) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 13, 2009
Blind tasting at Papsø’s
Cloudy amber color; big head. Strange aroma, soapy, with herbs (heather, bog myrthle - porse-); too much to take. The flavor has a good sweetness, with some caramel, and the impact of the soapy herbs is limited, but the body is well structured.

Madsnp (933) - DENMARK - JUL 10, 2009
Bottle. Pours slight hazy amber coloured with no head. Aromas of malty, cookies, toffee, cardamom and syrup. Sweet and spicy flavour with notes of molasses sugar, cardamom, caramel and ginger.

omhper (25380) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 9, 2009
Bottled at PBF. Lightly hazy ruby, no head. Ginger aroma. Sweet with lots of syrup and ginger. Viscous with some caramel, but most of all sickly sweet and gingery. Aptly named.

Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUL 7, 2009
0.75 l bottle at PBF. Reddish brown color with yeast flocs, virtually no head. Sweet caramelly and toffeish aroma with cardamon. Sweet worty, caramelly toffeish and spicy flavor. Might be a good dessert, but cardamon tastes excessive after a while.

TBone (17800) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 4, 2009
Bottled (PBF, BB 12/2010) Clear ruby color, no head, Strong aroma of cardamon, it is like a hot sweet bun. Flat, wineous mouthfeel. Very spicey (cardamon, clove), caramel. Alcohol in the finish. Interesting but drinkability is not so high.

sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 4, 2009
(Bottled, 0.75l) Slightly hazy amber, no head. Very malty, sweetish rye-puddingy and spicy aroma, like barley wine with no hops. Rye-puddingy flavor with lots of sweet malt, and low bitterness. Pretty full-bodied, very low-carbonated. Not refreshing, at least - or very good for that matter.

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 4, 2009
Bottled. Ambery colour, small beige head. Aroma is spices (atleast ginger), alcohol, some caramel and mild junipery notes as well. Flavour is ginger, alcohol, sweet alcohol as well as some caramel mallty notes.
