Pours murky orange with a big souflé head that settles down to a shallow soapy looking film. Smells musty, limey and slightly sour. Taste is bitter, citrusy and overall a bit disappointing. Palate is far too frothy and thin for me.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours hazy golden, quite light and fruity, maybe a tad sour.

erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAR 26, 2014
Light grassy fresh yet also quite boring body. Without much appeal even. Admittedly my body is a bit older than I’d like yet I expected more. Light amber malts overpower the hop even, especially in the oddly light funky taste. Fine body, but generally quite forgettable. A noble hop, but as IPA hop it doesn’t do it justice. Also, needs more hop. (33cl bottle from Beer City)

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv malzig, fruchtig herb. Geschmack sehr mild fruchtig bitter nach Früchten.

Orange trouble, effervescence moyenne-faible, col blanc moyen. Les malts clairs et cara se mélangent agréablement au houblon Saaz sans pour autant l’emporter sur de plus belles hauteurs. Bonne petite amertume légèrement fruitée (pamplemousse) et herbacée.

Idiosynkrasie (7609) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JAN 25, 2014
330ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with huge, frothy to macropore, fully lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Grassy, herbal, chlorophyllic hoppy aroma. Taste is dry, minimally tart, grassy and herbal hoppy; light, slightly watery. Not only that Saaz isn’t an usual, much less favourite hop for IPAs, this one lacks a solid malty backbone in addition.

gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - JAN 5, 2014
330 ml bottle at home. Pours clear golden with a tiny yet creamy head. Nose is slightly citrussy, rosewater, eucalyptus. Light body with sour notes, medium dry finish. Taste of malt and citrus peel. Light and easily drinkable beer bt seriously lacks aroma and flavour.

Lonick (2147) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 2, 2013
Nice, pours amber but it did gush. Great nose very dry on the palate a lemon/pepper after taste.

McNeillR (2322) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 29, 2013
Fairly vibrant light amber pour but then leaving a sick on pavement looking head. Vibrant refresher nose matched quickly by a brisk carbonation. Really cuts past the initial taste with the mouthfeel, tang of foamy lime and a nice light spritzy bitter.

Bottle, November Tasting.

BenH (3439) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle, gusher. Hazy golden with big white head. Slightly funky peppery lemon sherbet aroma. Taste of lemon and lime, slightly peppery. Zingy. Not bad but not sure of it’s as it was intended.
