Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 5, 2013
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Medium sized fluffy and slowly changing into a smaller off white head on top of a hazy to murky orange colored beer.
Aroma of malts, soap, light hoppy, bit like the average KBC beer aroma. :-)
And for some reason I like that...
Flavours of hops, bitters, light fruity (lemon/berries) sour touch (yeast, infection? It works delicious!), some hints of malts, flowers, other fruit (though thin, there’s some typic IPA fruit), herbs and a crispy floral touch.
That sour touch is both refreshing and crisp... I like it.
Aftertaste is fruity, yeasty, hoppy, very light sour, floral and a hint of bitters.
Low to medium carbo, light tingly at first and than creamy mouthfeel, lightly medium and a bit thin body and a light creamy texture.
It’s a decent single hop IPA beer for sure. I think it’s not bad. bierkoning (13687) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 2, 2013
Bottle. Amber color. Grassy citrus aroma and flavor. Dominant lemon. Refreshing and certainly not too hopbitter, Tart notes. Thinnish, but very fruity. Delicous summer beer. Ibrew2or3 (8814) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - AUG 26, 2013
33cl bottle (bottled on April 10th, 2013 and 4.8% ABV) courtesy of sebletitje, pours with a clear copper to gold body that supports a booming blooming off white somewhat cobweb like head. The aroma offers up a decent load of citrusy lemon and lime as well as floral hops with thin rings of earthy funky soured citrus. The over carbonation causes a pretty explosive and prickly burst of grapefruit, lime and floral notes across my palate. As I adjust to the carbonation a tart lemon and mineral come to the surface by about midway. It ends with lingering lemon lime citrus, slivers of floral hops a bit of maltiness that slides into faint earthy tea like notes. I haven’t dealt with Saaz all that much but it seems pretty cool here with more facets to it that I thought. Too bad this is four months old and already heading well beyond its prime condition despite the bottle stating enjoy within 1 year. Maybe enjoy within two months would be better. Nice, pours amber but it did gush. Great nose very dry on the palate a lemon/pepper after taste. angelkostvo (1247) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JUN 18, 2013
Orange color with huge off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, pine, grapefruit. Taste is light sweet and a bit sour, light bitter. Citrus flavor. Light body thin to oily texture, average carbonation. My first single hop Saaz IPA, its different but refreshing

Well, just another one from the single hop series. Next time I’ll just go for the better IPA s... BenH (3434) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle, gusher. Hazy golden with big white head. Slightly funky peppery lemon sherbet aroma. Taste of lemon and lime, slightly peppery. Zingy. Not bad but not sure of it’s as it was intended. TheCametron (2480) - CZECH REPUBLIC - MAY 27, 2013
Bottle. Bottled only 6 weeks ago. Pours hazy golden Orange with a shy, white head. The hops are a little lost on the nose. Distant. Quite an easy drinking brew. Slightly acidic Orange juice and a decent dose of Saazy goodness. Minimal bitterness to finish. Scopey (15704) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2013
Bottle, thanks to Bruce at Croydonia tasting. It pours cloudy golden yellow with a decent yellowish-white head. The nose is earthy, light toast, sweet lemon and grapefruit. The taste is earthy, decent bitterness, grapefruit, lemon, lime and sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not bad, I found it rather drinkable.
