Bottle. Chocolate coated wafer consumed at the seaside by a bonfire that is just being extinguished. Soft, creamy mouthfeel, coffee and dried fruit aftertaste, spicy finish, light salty. Intense and multidimensional. None of its constituent parts dominates absolutely (though dark chocolate is at the fore). Complex, superb beer.

Pours a relatively light, opaque black with a frothy off whtie head. The nose is heavy, robust and complex with a notable fruity and spicy character. Chocolate, roasted nuts, chilies, licorice. Moderate sweetness with a mild spice profile, warm finish, heavy oily body. Bitter and astringent but not overbearing. Nice beer overall!

Small frothy light brown head. Virtually none lacing. Mostly diminishing. Flat thick black body. Aroma: heavy roated malty, caramel, dark chocolate, strong coffee, raisin. Initial flavor: moderate sweet. Final flavor: moderate sweet light acidic bitter; long duration. Malt backbone can be balanced and supportive to rich and may optionally show some supporting caramel, flavors. The palate and finish can vary from relatively dry to moderately sweet, usually with some lingering roastiness, hop bitterness and warming character. 220 s

On tap at Piwoteka. Aroma is dark chocolate with cherries, soy sauce, cacao. Taste is moderately sweet and umami, pralines with cherry and coconut, cacao, lightly salted, some weak smoke notes, roasted cacao finish. Not even a hint of chilli but really tasty.
