330ml bottle @ home. Ordered from Ales By Mail. Sweet Imperial Stout. Not so roasted. Good in its own way. Not so traditional

Opaque black color, medium sized light brown head. Smell malts, oatmeal, coffee, roastyness. Taste malts, oatmeal, roastyness, coffee, lots of cocoa and bitter. Only slightly chili but thats fine with me, great taste! Oily texture, full body, medium carbo.

AROMAT: Intensywny, bogaty. Karmel, anyż, rodzynki, kakao, chleb razowy.

WYGLĄD: Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzyste. Piana drobna, bardzo niska.
OGLNIE: Przyzwoity RIS.

bottle at home as part of an EU local swap a few years ago, possibly from Benzai - should have made a note sorry!
dark ruby brown with beige lacing. rich mocha like cocoa notes with a hint of chili sharpness in behind, fig and molasses. Full bodied, no carbonation, rather sweet, slightly tart red berries and perhaps a hint of chili smoke in the finish. a touch of saltiness, cocoa, quite savoury at times, but finishes very sweet - overwhelmingly so unfortuantely. a bit more chili or carbonation could cut through it and make a special beer but as it is its a bit of a mess

Bottle from State Line dated 09-Jan-2015. Pours black with tan to brown head that leaves minimal lace. Aroma is dark chocolate, roasted chichory, mild peppers, black malt. Taste is similar with a bit of coffee, the peppers are perfectly subtle, and nice mouth feel. Finish is chocolate, and mild coffee.

Great look and feel. Initial aroma is great too...smoke and heavy roast, bitter chocolate, light chili. Flavor and eventually the nose (as it warms) are a little over the top. Almost charred, briney...pepper flavor is there but little spice. Still quite pleasant if flawed.

Aroma: lots of roastiness and chocolate; Appearance: pitch black with thin white head that dissipates quickly; Taste: sweet and malty with some booziness; smooth and chocolatey; Palate: heavy body with long, sweet finish; Overall: a little too sweet for my taste, but still a nice imperial stout.

Black colored, medium creamy tan head, good lasting. Aroma is of chocolate, some roasted malt, bit of chilli, light salt-mineral, dark fruits. Taste is medium to very sweet malt, chocolate and cocoa up front, some caramel, roasted malt, some dark fruits, bit of chilli, medium roasty bitterness, some alcohol and warming finish, light roasty and chilli acidity. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, creamy. Lovely! (bottle, Pivoteka Zagreb)
